Dick & Jan's WebPage

Travel with us back in time to view a Genealogy history of the Foster and Marino families. The genealogy descendant tree displayed on the following web pages represents each respective family linkage as best we know them at this time.

First select a family tree to view (below), then after clicking on the small tree (on the page that follows) you may simply follow the pointers to trace an ancestry trail. Optionally, you may click on an alphabetic letter in the 'A through Z' list at the top of the page. Selecting the first letter of a surname you wish to view will display a list of all family members with the surname beginning with that letter. Selecting a name from this surname list will take you directly to that person. There are several other display options listed at the top of the page, give them a try!

Take some time to learn how to navigate through the various family tree paths.

  • The family tree format is shown in the classic descendant tree view. When an individual is selected, the display shifts to the form of a 'family group sheet'.While in the family group sheet view, clicking on one of the small trees next to any of the names will bring you back to the descendant tree view for that person.
  • If you find yourself branching off into an unknown area, you can always get back to the beginning by clicking on the 'Index' key appearing on each page.
  • You may also find it handy to simply use the 'back' or 'forward' button supported by your browser.
  • Clicking on any of the small pictures in the tree view will bring up a larger view of that same picture.

Please Note: Genealogy research is an ever expanding study. The further you proceed with the research, the more you begin to understand family history and relationships. Attempting to place all this knowledge in an online format presents many special challenges, not the least of which is trying to present the information as accurately as possible. Return viewers of this material may very well see not only additions to the information but many corrections as well. With this in mind, viewers are encouraged to contact us at the mailbox below regarding any questions, information or pictures you may have which might help us with this project.
